When the first sparks of light
Dance along the horizon
I know our time
Is coming to an end
A long night of negotiations
Have left our hearts waning
I let the early morning light
Dance along the cracks
So you can see me breaking
The tears spilling over our cheeks
A final goodbye
And cleansing beginning
As dawn stretches before us
Casting shadows on the moving boxes
We can see our story once more
And allowing an encore
Before you leave
The stage of our relationship
Leaving me alone
In the morning light
Listening to the echo of your name
In this empty apartment
