Leaving my mind blank

These thoughts missing pieces

Words on the tip of my tongue

Scribbling for minutes upon minutes

Until everything becomes a jumbled mess

Of ink and paper

And time became fleeting

As hours disappeared

Missing pieces, I kept looking for
