Swimming in his Irises

I will not collect
On the tip
Of a lover’s tongue
For I am
A ghost
Lingering in phantom
Hands holding
Me done
Pressing into the mattress
So the curve
Of his name
Wrinkles into my skin
Sheets so pale
I can disappear
From his eyes
Become a silhouette
Swimming in his irises
Haunting everything in his sight
