Luciferous (Repost March 2017)

Luciferous
1. bringing or providing light.
2. providing insight or enlightenment.

She spoke, dignified
Her luciferous speech
Brought people to their feet
Thundering their applause
And the building shook with cheering
Her words carved a new hope
A path for the crowd to follow
And with every minute
They could see it, the future
Glowing brighter
She spoke, dignified
Presented the world
As a home and not a constant war zone
Brought unity to the table
Leaving fear to sleep outside
She asked the crowd to believe
And with belief they could
They marched into tomorrow
With the faith of today
And the knowledge of yesterday
