Impressionsism (Repost Challenge 2016)

Write a poem that has the word “love” hidden in it somewhere. You cannot use the word “love” by
itself, it must be hidden (such as in the word “glove” or in two words like “halo venom”).

The day hovers for a moment
On a women with a bouquet of foxgloves and clover
Sun catches in her hair and glimmers as if it had a halo, veil
The clouds, my hands try to seize the glare
So I can see her, a masterpiece in a gray pullover
With blotches of the sunset upon the edge
And color boilovers upon the horizon
Into dashes and dots, and my gaze sees every stroke
She is a world of Impressionism
A stranger with hands overflowing with foxgloves and clover
And all I say is hello vexation
