Loose Pages (Repost September 2016)

My day falls out
Loose pages of my life
Scattering along the floor
And I forget
How to organize them
All the emotions I once had
Change with a snap of my fingers
The pain, the anger
Dull upon my skin
Reshaping and twisting
Until blossom into something new
Gathering them up
And shoving them in a secondhand vase
So the days shine, collect
Upon the petals
And these emotions find daylight again
