We gather to enjoy laughter
Good times and a moment
Discussions tickling my ear
And start learning more about one another
Holidays aren’t only for family
But also for the kin we choose
I sit on the edge
Observing the smiles
The interactions of friends
Finding time for one another
And I find myself
