Snow Queen

Ice dangling, dangling
From the curve of her ears
Down to her fingertips
When she says
The world freezes
We are swirling within the blizzard in her eyes
Her voice buzzes upon ears
Letting her capture
Another lover within her icy kiss
One, two
And three you will fade away
Splintering emotions dance upon her wrist
Handing them over, slivers
Her love lodging deep into their hearts and gazes
For there is no one else
She is the masterpiece, an ice sculpture
Collecting compliments like snowflakes
Each one unique
And melting the moment they hit the ground
Her lovers, lingering afterthoughts upon her mouth
One, two
And by third kiss they all fade away
Etching their names
Upon the cold surface of her tongue
