Then back upright
Shake me again and again
Until I change
In a rut, my skin stalls
Hangs upon my bones
Need a different look
Skew my view
So modify my color palette
Drape some new fabric
Reupholster my smile
Accessorize with a new facial regiment
Smooth out the ridges, the ruffles
Shake off the dust of my current routine
Transformation, this body evolves
Until I feel on vacation
And I am my own paradise once more
