Love Poem #41

Repost October 2013

Poetic Trials

Fishing

I went fishing

And found you late one night

Every girl needs a toy

You were quick to oblige

Showed up to my door

Let me pull at the strings

With the right phrase

The right motion

You stumbled in

Every girl needs a toy

I let you pretend you were in control

Danced to your song

Swaying in the dark

Until you finally agreed

To let this little girl play

Every girl needs a toy

Every once in a while

And he was a perfect fit

By the way

Thanks for the vodka as a parting gift
