Across the room

Peeling away this shell
I will glow under a mischief smile
Voice waterfalls along my back
With your gaze you follow
Fingertips itching, reaching
Keep me in your gaze

Fading in and out of the shadows
The world is my dance floor
Let me spiral around you
Until you are dizzy
Falling, you are
Hold your hands
And maybe I will catch you
Or let you slip
Under the line of my mouth
Along the curve of my hips
Feel yourself drifting within my gaze
Keep me in your gaze

Into wisps of shadow and light
